ASHYA, a luxury leather goods design label based in New York was established in 2017, with the intention of acting as a bridge between the worlds of design + travel. We approach design with essentialism in mind, creating seasonless luxury goods rooted in utilitarian principles made for the thoughtful explorer. Launching with only two silhouettes, the brand has now expanded to over 15 styles, leaning on sustainable practices and environmentally friendly methods in leather tanning with production in both Los Angeles, California and Tuscany, Italy. Over the course of ten (10) years, I have garnered an acute knowledge of product development in the luxury design space—overseeing all aspects of product design, from developing high level concepts to the full realization of collections. As the Co-founder + Co-Creative Director, I have spearheaded the start-to-finish process of designing, sourcing, developing and managing vendor relationships and production.
